Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
• Carry out routine servicing such as oil changes, brake inspections, tyre rotations, and fluid replacements
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of all work carried out on each vehicle
• Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering client queries
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Technician or similar role with relevant qualifications
• Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during repairs or maintenance tasks
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Organised approach to work with attention to detail
• Valid driving licence is preferred but not essential; however, the ability to operate company vehicles may be required for certain tasks
